Crown ring for PBD bags
What is it?
Crown rings are clips on a lamppost to hang PBD (Plastic, Canned and Drinking Carton) waste bags. Residents can request crown rings from the municipality. By doing so, we hope to reduce the nuisance of PMD bags blowing away.
What to do.
Request a crown ring using the contact form above. Under "Question or Comment?" enter "Crown Ring" and describe the location where you would like the crown ring placed.
How does it work?
More than 1,000 crown rings have been installed in the municipality. The crown rings are attached to the lamppost closest to the applicant(s)' home. If more crown rings were requested on the same street, the crown rings were distributed among the lampposts in the street.
