New and clearer municipal and water board tax assessment notices
In February, residents will once again receive their annual municipal and water board tax assessments. These assessments are sent on behalf of the municipality by Belasting Samenwerking Oost-Brabant (BSOB), either by post or digitally via MijnOverheid. The tax assessment notice lists the amounts for waste collection tax, property tax, and water system tax, among other things. BSOB uses the established WOZ value for various taxes.
This year, BSOB is introducing a new, clearer tax assessment notice. The most important information is now on the front page and the document has been shortened. Another new feature is a QR code that residents can use to pay directly, lodge an objection, check for remission, or log in to the Digital Desk. The new design was tested in advance by the Laarbeek residents' panel and was rated as clear and user-friendly.
