Municipal and central electoral committee
In municipal elections, the results are determined by the municipality's Central Electoral Committee. Prior to this, various checks are carried out. This process is as follows:
Thursday, March 19, 2026: municipal polling station session
What does the Municipal Polling Station do?
The Municipal Voting Committee performs the following duties:
- Checking all minutes taken at the polling station on election day;
- for any errors in a record: recount of votes cast at a polling station
- processing all official reports in a specially designed computer program
- publication of the election results.
When?
The Municipal Electoral Committee will meet on Thursday, March 18, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. The duration of this meeting will depend in part on the findings.
Where?
The Municipal Electoral Committee will meet in the town hall. This meeting is open to the public. If you would like to attend, please register at the reception desk on Thursday, March 18, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
Disclose
When the municipal polling station has completed its work, an official report is drawn up.
This official report (Na31-1) will be posted on the municipality's website after the session, together with all the official reports from the polling stations (N10-1). The results file will also be posted on the website.
Report
Would you like to submit a report regarding the election results? You can do so starting March 19. We will add a button here for that purpose.
You can submit a report until Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the latest. That is when the deadline for submitting reports closes.
Transfer to Central Electoral Committee
Once the Municipal Electoral Office has completed its work, all documents and files will be transferred to the Central Electoral Office of the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo.
Friday, March 20 through Wednesday, March 25, 2026
Work activities Central polling station
From Friday, March 20, through Wednesday, March 25, 2026, the Central Electoral Committee will check all documents and files submitted by the Municipal Electoral Committee. In addition to checking for accuracy, data analysis will also be performed to determine whether any notable results need to be investigated. The Central Electoral Committee will also assess any reports received from citizens.
If the Central Electoral Committee sees reason to do so, it may ask the Municipal Electoral Committee to re-examine or recount one or more polling stations.
Thursday, March 26, 2026: Central Election Committee meeting
Once all checks have been completed and all reports have been investigated, the Central Electoral Committee will determine the results in a public session.
When?
The meeting of the Central Electoral Committee will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
Where?
The meeting of the Central Electoral Committee will take place in the town hall. This meeting is open to the public.

Public disclosure
