WMO Advisory Council Conducts Study on Support Services for Informal Caregivers
Are you an informal caregiver? If so, you may soon be contacted to fill out a survey about your opinions on the support provided by the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo. You will receive the questionnaire on behalf of the Geldrop-Mierlo WMO Advisory Council, the independent organization that advises the mayor and aldermen.
If you are caring for a loved one who has a long-term illness, a disability, or needs assistance, you are an informal caregiver. This care can range from intensive Health to smaller tasks, such as running errands. It is not uncommon for the demand for help to be overwhelming. That is why it is important to have access to support. You can apply for this support through the
municipality.
The WMO Advisory Council is interested in learning how satisfied the residents of Geldrop-Mierlo are with the support funded by the municipality. This survey is about that. It takes about ten minutes to complete the questionnaire. A return envelope is included. Once a sufficient number of questionnaires have been submitted, the Advisory Council will evaluate the responses and may provide recommendations to the municipality. These recommendations could lead to policy changes.
