Are you already familiar with our area directors?

Maybe you have already come across us: cycling through the neighborhood, talking with residents or present at a neighborhood activity. We are the area directors of Geldrop-Mierlo, recognizable by our blue coats. You may wonder what we do exactly. We are happy to explain.

We are the eyes and ears of the municipality in your neighborhood. We keep in touch with residents, business owners and organizations and are a link between the neighborhood and city hall. We look for the connection and think along how you can improve things in your neighborhood. By talking about it together we can tackle problems faster. We like to listen to what you find important and think along with you. Because we know your neighborhood well, we easily bring people, ideas and organizations together.

Think along and work together

Do you have a good idea to make your neighborhood more beautiful or nicer? If so, we will help implement that idea. For example:

  • Supervising activities during the Week of Meeting;
  • organizing a MOT for mobility scooters;
  • community or sports activities for children and the elderly;
  • improving contacts between neighborhood residents, to combat loneliness.

We can be found weekly at various locations around the neighborhood. Do you see us passing by? Feel free to talk to us - even if you don't have a problem. We would love to have a chat with you!
