Wednesday, Oct. 29: Where and when can you vote?
When can you vote?
Elections for members of the House of Representatives will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 29. All regular polling stations are open from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm. Only the mobile polling station (polling station 21) has different opening hours.
Where can you vote?
Look here for polling stations in Geldrop-Mierlo:
* Please note that these are the correct locations. The information in Middle Class Interests is incorrect.
* Prokkel Voting Office
The town hall and community center Zesgehuchten are a Stimucounter polling station.
This means that someone with a (minor) disability participates as a member of the polling station and fulfills tasks that are feasible within his or her disability. This happens under the guidance of another member of this polling station, creating a so-called Stimucounter duo.
This project was born out of the need for a more inclusive society. After all, people with disabilities are more than their disabilities, they want and can be of significance in society. More information about the Stimucounter Foundation and the elections can be found on the website of the Stimucounter Foundation: www.prokkel.nl/inclusieve-stembureaus/
** Mobile polling station
The mobile polling station will be used to allow residents of Geldrop's senior citizen precincts to vote close to home.
Counting of votes
The counting of votes cast will take place on election day from 9 p.m. at the respective polling station, except for the mobile polling station. The counting of the votes cast from the mobile polling station takes place from 9 p.m. at the town hall, De Meent 2 in Geldrop. The counting of votes is open to the public.
