Determination of candidate lists

The candidate lists submitted for the municipal council elections on January 18, 2026, and all candidates appearing on those lists were confirmed in the public session of the Central Electoral Committee (Csb) held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. All party names (designations) were also retained. See attached report I-4 for a report of this meeting.

Numbering of candidate lists

After the candidate lists have been determined, they are numbered in accordance with Article I14 of the Elections Act:

  1. Green Left/Labor Party (PvdA)
  2. DGG (Democratic Grouping Geldrop)
  3. CDA
  4. Mierlo Village Party (DPM)
  5. D66
  6. We are Geldrop-Mierlo | VVD
  7. TOGETHER

Set up appeal

Interested parties may lodge an appeal (within four days) with the Administrative Law Division of the Council of State against the decisions of the Central Electoral Committee on the validity of the candidate lists and the enforcement of candidate and party names (designations). Appeals may be lodged within four days (no later than Tuesday, February 10, 2026).

Inspection of candidate lists

The candidate lists will be available for inspection at the town hall, De Meent 2 in Geldrop, until Tuesday, February 10, 2026. To view the lists, please Make an appointment the elections team: 040 – 289 38 03 or 06 – 38 99 03 82. Because we are granting access to personal data, you are required to identify yourself before viewing the lists. A supervisor will always be present to ensure that:

  • the documents are not removed from the folders
  • no photos, videos, or copies are made.
