Project Sewerage and basin Heer van Scherpenzeelweg in Mierlo
Some time ago, we informed you about the work needed to reduce flooding in the area around Heer van Scherpenzeelweg in Mierlo. The underground water storage cellar has now been installed and a new sewer has been laid around De Weijer sports hall. We would like to tell you more about the plans for 2026.
Planning
Starting Tuesday, January 6, 2026, we will continue with the following phases: construction of a new sewer in Heer van Scherpenzeelweg from Kerkstraat to the intersection with Heer van Rodestraat. The work will be carried out in phases.
Consequences
Through traffic via Heer van Scherpenzeelweg will not be possible during this period. Traffic will be diverted. The buildings located in the area where work is being carried out will be temporarily inaccessible to cars. However, the buildings will remain accessible to pedestrians.
