New street names in Luchen: Blue Tit and Tail Tit

The Municipal Executive of Geldrop-Mierlo has adopted two new street names in the plan areas Pheasant Avenue-East and Pheasant Avenue-West in Luchen. The streets get the names Pimpelmees and Staartmees.

The blue tit and the long-tailed tit are cheerful, small birds often seen in gardens and trees. The blue tit stands out because of its bright blue head, the long-tailed tit because of its long tail and social behavior. They are typical inhabitants of green residential areas - exactly the character we want to exude with Luchen. Other streets in Luchen also refer to birds or insects, such as the Cutthroat and the Day Peacock.

Luchen is a developing neighborhood with lots of space, greenery and attention to nature. The new street names fit this perfectly. More information about the neighborhood and its developments can be found at luchen.geldrop-mierlo.nl.
