Want to know more about insulating your home and the municipal subsidy?

Energiehuis Slim Wonen can provide you with expert advice on how to make your home more energy efficient. Make an appointment with an energy coach for a consultation at the library or have an energy coach visit your home.

Insulate: energy you don't lose is a saving

Insulation helps to retain heat. Any heat that does not escape outside does not need to be generated, so you do not have to pay for it. Ensuring that your home is well insulated is therefore one of the first steps you can take to make it more sustainable. Consider insulating the floor, walls, and roof and/or replacing windows. Insulation, especially in homes built before 1990, can lead to significant savings and lower energy bills.

The best approach for you

During the free information evening, energy coaches from Energiehuis Slim Wonen will tell you more about what you can do. How can you find out where the biggest heat leaks are? What is a logical order for taking measures, and what about replacing glass? You will also hear why ventilation is important for preventing moisture problems and what the options are. Mike de Haas from Ecobuilding Solutions will also talk about his experiences with sustainable bio-based insulation.

Subsidy from the municipality

The municipality has recently introduced a subsidy scheme to help people with poorly insulated homes pay for insulation measures. Homeowners can receive a maximum subsidy of €1,500. During the information evening, a representative from the municipality will also explain the Requirements apply to this scheme.
