Parenting is fun, but not always easy. There are problems in every family. Talk about this with a family member, or a friend. It helps to talk to other parents. You can tell your story and maybe they will give you tips that will help you. If things are not going well for a long time, this can cause a lot of unrest. It is then a good idea to seek help.

Parenting problems
Do you have questions or doubts about parenting? Or about your child's behavior? Get in touch with the child health clinic, the GGD or the family doctor. Look for advice and information on the website Opvoeden.nl. The CMD can support you with information and advice or guidance. Together with other organizations, the CMD gives courses, workshops and trainings on youth aid and parenting.
Separation
Are you getting divorced or thinking about it? Health that you make good arrangements. On the website of the Legal Help Desk you will find explanations, advice and a step-by-step plan. Do you have children under the age of 18 and are you separating? Then you must make a parenting plan together. Children and a composite family
For most children, it is very sad when their parents get divorced. The website Opvoeden tells you how to help your child cope.

Death and mourning
When someone dies, it can cause a lot of grief. Processing this is called grieving. Everyone grieves in their own way. Some people prefer to grieve alone. Youth Aid
Youth aid is help, Health and support for children under the age of 18. Every child gets the youth aid that is right for him or her. Think of youth aid given at home or at school, addiction care, or help with child abuse. Youth mental health care is for children with mental problems. Perhaps a child needs to live somewhere else temporarily. This can be in a youth facility or with a foster family. Where can you go for youth assistance?
The Youth Act states that the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo has a youth aid obligation. This means that we have to help you and your child determine what help is needed. We have to help you find the right help (yourself). And the law states that we have to make sure that the help is actually given. The municipality does not provide the help itself, but arranges this through organizations for youth and parenting assistance.
If you or your child needs support growing up and parenting, you can contact the CMD. You must do this yourself, possibly with the support of someone else. Don't you have anyone close to you who can help you with the report? There are organizations that can support you (client support).
Conversation
The CMD client advisor will meet with you and explore with you what is possible. Someone else may be present at this meeting. For example, your partner or an acquaintance. But this may also be someone from the client support team. You can contact Seniorenbelangen, MEE Zuid oost Brabant, AKJ or Zorgbelang. After the interview, a plan of action is written. This also looks at what you can do yourself (together with family and/or friends) or what help is available. Does the plan state that you need professional help? Urgent youth assistance
If urgent help is needed for a child or family, contact the crisis service for urgent youth care in your region by telephone outside office hours. Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Southeast Brabant of Safe Home is available outside office hours on weekdays, and all day on weekends and holidays.
The crisis service arranges for youth services to be deployed: your family receives support at home. If necessary, your child can go to a crisis foster family for a while. Or stay at a crisis shelter.

Child care with socio-medical indication, seek reimbursement
Do you have social or medical problems and want to bring your child(ren) to childcare? And you do not receive childcare allowance? Then you can apply for a social-medical indication. If you receive this indication, we will reimburse the cost of childcare temporarily (maximum 3 months).
