Advisory memorandum Regional Program To the Right Place 2026-2029

This advisory note concerns the Regional Program To the Right Place 2026-2029, which was drawn up within the framework of the new School to Sustainable Work Act that came into force on January 1, 2026. The program aims to increase equal opportunities for young people by providing better guidance during the transition from school to work and helping them to retain sustainable employment.

The council decides:
1. To designate the municipality of Eindhoven as the contact municipality for the Southeast Brabant Transfer Point Region.
2. To take note of the Regional Program Towards the Right Place 2026-2029.

Advisory memorandum on the compensation agreement for Spaarpot 12 in Geldrop

An application for an environmental permit has been submitted for the development of 36 commercial units. This requires a planning measure (BOPA). Prior to the decision on the application, an agreement must be entered into with the initiator to recover any claims for compensation for damage from the initiator.

The council decides to approve the compensation agreement relating to the development of 36 commercial units at Spaarpot 12 in Geldrop.

Advisory memorandum from the Wmo Advisory Council on additional Bravoflex stops in Geldrop-Mierlo

This proposal concerns the recommendation of the Wmo Advisory Council to add additional Bravoflex stops. This year, approximately fifty Bravoflex stops will be added in Southeast Brabant, including in the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo. As further expansion is possible, municipalities in Southeast Brabant are being consulted to explore where additional stops could be added in the future.

The council decides:
1. To adopt the requested advice from the Wmo Advisory Council on the installation of additional Bravoflex stops in the future.
2. To agree with the response to the requested advice from the Wmo Advisory Council.
3. To agree with the council information letter that the municipal council will receive.

College advice Response Art. 36 Questions TOGETHER

SAMEN submitted Article 36 questions about the redevelopment of the outdoor area at the former St. Joseph's Church.

The council decides:
1. To approve the response to the questions submitted by SAMEN under Article 36 regarding the redevelopment of the outdoor area at the former Sint Jozefkerk
2. To forward the response to the questions to the municipal council.

Advisory note on designation of contact person for Open Government Act

It is important that everyone can check whether an administrative body has the information they are looking for. To this end, Article 4:7 of the Woo stipulates that every administrative body (in this case, the municipal executive) must appoint one or more persons to answer questions from citizens on this subject. This ensures that everyone can be helped quickly because they know who to contact. The intention is therefore that the Woo contact officer can answer questions in an accessible manner, for example by telephone or email.

The council decides to appoint the legal advisor Woo as the contact person for the Open Government Act as referred to in Article 4:7 of the Open Government Act.

Advisory memorandum on the administrative assignment for the redevelopment of Dorpsstraat 210, Mierlo

In the short term, the property at Dorpsstraat 210 in Mierlo will be vacant. Redevelopment of this location offers opportunities to contribute to the various challenges facing the center of Mierlo. In order to achieve successful redevelopment, it is necessary to formulate a clear administrative mandate in advance.

The council decides:
1. To approve the administrative assignment for the redevelopment of Dorpsstraat 210.
2. To request a preparatory credit of €105,000 for this purpose in the next interim report.

Advisory memorandum on the sale of a strip of land near Luchenseheide 17 in Mierlo

The plot at Luchenseheide 17 borders the future housing development in the Fazantlaan-West planning area. The plot contains nine potentially valuable trees, three of which are located on the boundary with the planning area. On September 16, 2024, you agreed to the proposal to include the nine trees on the list of valuable trees. Due to Health the preservation of the three trees on the property line in particular, in combination with privacy concerns, the municipality was contacted to reach an agreement on the purchase of the land. The municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo has agreed with the residents of Luchenseheide 17 that they can purchase a strip of land on the northeast side of their plot measuring approximately 251 m².

The council decides:
1. To approve the purchase agreement in accordance with the attached draft.
2. To apply a land price of €139 per m2.
3. To include the trees listed in Appendix 4 (valuable trees at Luchenseheide 17) on the list of valuable trees.

Advisory memorandum on amendment to lease agreement for Linze 13 in Geldrop

The municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo and sole proprietorship Café-biljart Schônmoeder have entered into a lease agreement for the premises at Linze 13 in Geldrop. The lease agreement has been entered into for a period of 5 years and runs from July 14, 2022, to July 13, 2027. The parties wish to amend the lease agreement prematurely, with effect from July 1, 2025.

The council decides to approve the premature amendment of the lease agreement between the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo and Eenmanszaak Café-biljart Schônmoeder for the location at Linze 13 in Geldrop with effect from July 1, 2025.

Advisory note on facade modification at Heuvel 8, Geldrop

The initiator wants to modify the facade of Heuvel 8. Moving the glass front forward is conceivable and has even already been approved. Creating an extra door (or two) for the upper apartments in the solid frame is not desirable for various reasons and is also not necessary.

The council decides to adopt the advice of the Environmental Quality Committee and therefore not to allow changes to the main design of the facade, such as the installation of one or more doors on the ground floor in the solid frame.
