Subsidy Leergeld children Ukraine

Since the arrival of a large number of Ukrainian displaced persons in our municipality, Stichting Leergeld has provided the children with textbooks, sports and school supplies and even swimming lessons in a quick, accessible and involved way. In doing so, Stichting Leergeld has incurred high incidental costs, while the municipality is compensated by the state for the costs it incurs (and retains on them). It is fair to give Stichting Leergeld a subsidy, which ensures that the foundation can continue to do its good work.

The College decides:
1. To provide Stichting Leergeld with a one-time grant in the amount of
€ 27.000,-;
2. To pay these costs from the ROO (Regeling Opvang Ontheemden Oekraïne) funds, FCL 6650002/ECL 38103u).

College proposal RIB wildfire management plan

Several wildfires have occurred in recent years, including the fires on the Strabrechtse Heide and in the Deurnsche Peel. By order of the province of North Brabant and in cooperation with the safety regions, municipalities started a program to improve natural fire management. On November 29, 2023, the Groote Heide / Stratumse Heide / Valkenhorst, Leenderbos-Malpie and Strabrechtse Heide Nature Fire Management Plan was adopted. It is good to inform the council about this.

The college decides to send the council information letter Nature Fire Management Plan various natural areas including Strabrechtse Heide and surroundings, to the council for information.

Advisory note mandate application extended procedure

Under the Omgevingswet Act, all (formal) applications for environmental permits are subject to the regular procedure (8 weeks with a one-time grant of 6 weeks). Reasoned individual applications may be declared subject to the extended procedure (with a 26-week period and a one-time grant). Because we don't know what to expect from January 1, 2024, we want to give case managers the opportunity at the beginning to quickly opt for applying the extended procedure. So this is about formal requested environmental permits (and not the preliminary process).

The College decides:
1. to take note of the working arrangements extended procedure;
2. to grant the Team Manager Spatial Development a mandate to take the decision to apply the extensive procedure.

5

Advisory note on policy development tree and facade gardens

In 2022 we started a one-year pilot to enable tree and facade gardens in the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo. By now this pilot has run for a year and has been evaluated. Based on the evaluation it can now be decided to adopt a definitive policy for allowing tree and facade gardens in the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo.

The College decides:
1. To take note of the evaluation of the tree and facade garden pilot;
2. To adopt the policy regarding tree and façade gardens;
3. To adopt the agreement for the use of the façade or tree garden; 4. To inform the council of the evaluation and policy development through the attached council information letter.

Advisory note Heer Dickbierweg 2 and Bijlakker 1

The owners of both homes in Mierlo purchased the properties several years ago. The residences face each other on adjacent parcels of land.
In 2017, the Unregistered Land Use Project was started and as part of this project, land in use should be legalized. The owners of the properties at the above addresses are making unauthorized use of the land. After holding several discussions, the owners are open to purchasing the land. The land will be split into two parcels.

The College decides:
1. To approve the two purchase agreements in accordance with the attached drafts;
2. To agree to the sales price of €12,846,- k.k. for Heer Dickbierweg 2 and €12,362,- k.k. for Bijlakker 1.
