Have you lost your voting pass, is it damaged, or have you not received it? Request a replacement voting pass in good time.
What is a voting pass?
All eligible voters will receive a voting pass by Friday, February 20, 2026. You can find out where you can vote with this voting pass on March 18, 2026 in the leaflet accompanying the voting pass and on the back of the list of candidates that will be delivered to your home. Don't forget to bring valid ID (like a passport, driver's license, ID card, or residence permit). You'll need to show this to the polling station chairperson. Your ID can be up to 5 years out of date.
Voting card lost, not received or damaged?
Request a new voting pass in good time. Below you can read how to request a new voting pass. On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 12:00 noon, the Register of Invalid Voting Passes will be drawn up. The Register of Invalid Voting Passes is used at polling stations to check whether voting passes are being submitted that are no longer valid (for example, because the voter has requested a replacement voting pass, has granted a proxy, or the voting pass holder has died). For this reason, we are not allowed to issue new voting passes after this time.
How do you request a replacement voting pass?
➜ At the counter
You can Make an appointment the public affairs desk at the town hall. This can be done until Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 12:00 noon. To do so, make an appointment at www.geldrop-mierlo.nl/afspraak-maken. If your application is approved, you will receive your replacement voting pass immediately.
➜ Written request
You can request a replacement voting pass in writing. Because we send the voting pass by mail, the request must be received by the municipality no later than Friday, March 13, 2026, at 12:00 noon. Don't forget to include a copy of your ID.
➜ Digital request
At www.geldrop-mierlo.nl/verkiezingen, under "Replacement voting pass," you will find a link to the digital form. Here you can use your DigiD to submit a digital request for a replacement voting pass. Digital requests can be submitted until Friday, March 13, 2026, at 12:00 noon at the latest.
Because mail is no longer delivered daily in many places, we recommend that you request your replacement voting pass in good time!
Voting pass and proxy
When someone casts a proxy vote it must always be done at the same time as casting their own vote.
