Want to know what legal aid costs? Check the websites of the Legal Help Desk and Legal Aid.

Legal aid contribution

Can't afford the legal aid? Ask for reimbursement for legal aid. You will then only pay an own contribution (part of the costs). You do not have to arrange the application yourself. Your lawyer or mediator will do this for you. Note: not every lawyer helps people who need a contribution for legal aid. Ask about this first.

Special assistance

Do you have a low income? You may be able to get Special Assistance to pay your own contribution for legal aid. Read more about this at Minimaregelingen.

Objecting

Do you disagree with an organization's decision? For example, about the amount of your benefits or your child care allowance? File an objection with that organization. Use the tips and sample letters on the Juridisch Loket website to file an objection.

Objection to decision of municipality

It may happen that you disagree with a decision made by the municipality. You can then file a notice of objection within six weeks of notification of the decision. You can do this by using the online objection form or by writing a letter. To find out how this works, go toObjection.
