Role of the PlusTeam employee

The PlusTeam talks only with and not about you.

The PlusTeam always involves several employees. It depends on your request for help, whether the PlusTeam offers the help itself or supports in finding the best suitable help for you. If this help is paid for by the Youth Act or the WMO, the PlusTeam employee can submit an application for this help to the municipality.

If other organizations are a part of your plan, the PlusTeam will work with you and the social worker to regularly discuss the goals set.

Good to know: the PlusTeam strongly believes in the own strength of people. That is also the reason why we will not take over any tasks from you, but rather discuss what you need in order to take things on yourself.

The PlusTeam offers only voluntary help.

The PlusTeam does not have a crisis service. We cannot be reached outside office hours.

The team

The PlusTeam consists of a team of about 30 employees. All employees are SKJ- or BIG-registered. Everyone has a different background in social work. Each works from their own experience, expertise and methodologies. All staff members have taken the SoNeStra course, so the emphasis is on your own plan. Making use of the own strength in your network instead of being dependent on assistance, that is what SoNeStra stands for. The thought process of SoNeStra is widely supported in the team.
