Plan map for electric car charging stations
More and more people are driving electric. If you do not have your own parking, you can use public charging stations. This network of public charging stations will continue to expand in the near future. Therefore, approximately every six months the municipality makes a plan map with possible locations where charging stations will be placed. You can now give your reaction to the locations.
What is the plan map?
On the Map , charging stations are planned in locations where larger numbers of electric drivers are expected based on neighborhood characteristics. A variety of technical requirements are taken into account when determining the spots. These are then the places where charging stations can potentially be installed. Every six months, the municipality, together with our cooperation partner Vattenfall InCharge, looks at the best performing existing charging stations. This analysis determines where new charging stations will be installed the following six months. In this way, the charging stations are placed where the demand is greatest.
How can you view scheduled locations?
On the participation portal, you can view the planned locations and give your reaction to them. The Map with the planned locations is also available for inspection at the City Hall front desk. You can respond from April 10 to May 7. We will take your response into account when determining the final locations.
Public charging station in your neighborhood?
There may not yet be a charging station close to you. You can submit a proposal for a new location via the Together Sustainable page. Residents' proposals are taken into account in the semi-annual analysis of the best performing charging stations and choosing new locations. A public charging station costs you nothing, you only pay for charging the electric car. At these public charging stations you always charge 100% from wind generated electricity from Dutch windmills.
