You may need shelter for a variety of reasons. For example, because you lose the roof over your head. You then no longer have a home. You may have to leave your w home because it is not safe there. If family and friends cannot help you, there are other options.

What do you want to know about?

Crisis Shelter

Crisis shelter is for people who can no longer live at home and need immediate supervision and shelter. For example, in case of a psychological crisis, relationship problems, abuse or money problems

Do you need to leave your home urgently or can no longer live safely at home? Ask family or friends if you can go with them. Is this not possible? Then crisis shelter may be a (temporary) solution. Social care institutions often also offer crisis shelter. They also help you to get out of your crisis situation. For example, they can help you find a place to spend the day (work or school) or find new housing. A plan can also be made to live independently, or to restore contacts.

Directional Team+

If you can no longer oversee your problems, are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, you can report to the Regieteam+ of the municipality of Eindhoven. You can do this by mail(regieteam@eindhoven.nl), telephone or during the walk-in clinic every Tuesday and Thursday morning between 8.30 and 9.30 am in the Mercado building, Smalle Haven 109, Eindhoven. Employees of the Regieteam+ investigate with you what (crisis) shelter needs and possibilities there are, and what guidance is needed.

Day care and night care

Everyone deserves a place of their own. It just doesn't always work out. In some cases, help is needed right away. Think of a warm place to sleep during the winter days when you are forced to sleep outside or when you are looking for a safe place to stay temporarily. You can turn to the NEOS Foundation for shelter, help and support.
