What is it?
If you are looking for a rental property, you can register as a housing seeker. You will then have a chance at a social rental home. This housing is mainly for people up to a certain income. If you earn more, you do not qualify. You may then look for private rental opportunities with realtors.
How does it work?
Register with housing associations that provide social housing distribution.
Registering as a house seeker in Geldrop - Wooniezie
Requirements
You are eligible only if you:
- 18 years of age or older;
- Dutch citizen or have a valid residency status.
Woonbedrijf moves to Wooniezie as of Oct. 1
Starting October 1, 2020, Woonbedrijf will offer vacant social housing units for rent through www.wooniezie.nl. Woonbedrijf has been advertising on Wooniezie since early 2018, but house seekers could not yet respond to properties here. As of Oct. 1, they will be.
All house seekers who are already registered with Wooniezie will also be able to respond to Woonbedrijf housing directly with their registration as of October 1. Home seekers from Woonbedrijf who activate their registration on Wooniezie from October 1 will also be able to respond to all homes within Wooniezie.
From October 1, 2020, the following (regional) housing associations are connected to Wooniezie:Bergopwaarts (Helmond), Compaen, Goed wonen Gemert, Helpt Elkander, `Thuis, Trudo, Volksbelang, woCom, Woonbedrijf, Wooninc. and Woonpartners. In addition, the landlords Mooiland, JorisZorg, Savant, Woonzorg Nederland and Vestia also use Wooniezie.
