Next phase redesign Bekelaar in Mierlo (Aug. 18 to Dec. 5)

The Bekelaar section between Santheuvel traffic circle and Loeswijk is expected to be completed on Friday, July 25. During the construction vacation from Saturday, July 26, to Monday, August 18, we will temporarily open the entire Bekelaar to all traffic.

After the construction vacations, the Bekelaar section (phase 2) from the Loeswijk to the municipal border with Someren will be up for construction. Phase 2 will start on August 18 and last until December 5, 2025. The section of the Bekelaar between the traffic circle Santheuvel/Bekelaar and the road Loeswijk will then be open to all traffic.

The Eendenpoel road will remain accessible via the Mierloseweg (Someren), except on the days when we will be applying asphalt. We will inform you about this later.

Detour

Through traffic from Mierlo to Lierop and vice versa will be diverted via Helmond (Brugstraat - Industrieweg - Geldropseweg - Heeklaan - Kanaaldijk Zuid West).

Bus line 320

On Monday afternoon, July 28, 2025, the Bekelaar will be temporarily opened to all traffic. The bus will then resume its normal route (via the Bekelaar) through Mierlo and Geldrop.

From August 18 to December 5 (phase 2), the Bekelaar (Loeswijk section - municipal border) will be closed again. During this phase, the bus will travel via Lungendonk (Lierop), Lungendonksebaan and Goorsedijk through Mierlo and Geldrop.
