What is a voting pass?

All eligible voters will receive a voting pass no later than Wednesday, October 15, 2025. You can find out where you can vote with this voting pass in the leaflet accompanying the voting pass and on the back of the list of candidates delivered door-to-door. Do not forget to bring valid proof of identity (e.g. passport, driver's license or identity card). You are required to show this to the chairman of the polling station. The proof of identity may not have expired for more than 5 years.

Voting card lost, not received or damaged?

You can request a replacement voting pass at the City Hall front desk until noon on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at the latest.

In particular, the QR code on your voting card must not be damaged.

Register Invalid Voting Passes

On Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at noon, the Register of Invalid Voting Passes will be prepared. The Register of Invalid Voting Passes is used at the polling stations to check that no voting passes are being used that are no longer legally valid (for example, because the voter has applied for a replacement voting pass, has granted a proxy which has caused the voting pass to expire, or the voting pass holder has died). Therefore, the application for a replacement voting pass must be received at the municipality no later than Tuesday, October 28, by noon.

How do you request a replacement voting pass?

  • Oral request

You can make a Make an appointment appointment at the front desk in City Hall. This can be done from Wednesday, October 8, 2025 until no later than noon on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Please make an appointment for this purpose: Make an appointment.

If your request is approved you will receive your replacement voting card immediately.
