Replacement voting pass

What is a voting pass?

All eligible voters will receive a voting pass by Friday, February 20, 2026, at the latest. You can find out where you can vote with this voting pass in the leaflet accompanying the voting pass and on the back of the list of candidates that will be delivered to your home. 

Don't forget to bring valid identification (e.g., passport, driver's license, identity card, or residence permit). You are required to show this to the chair of the polling station. The identification may be no more than 5 years out of date.

Voting card lost, not received or damaged?

Request a new voting pass in good time. Below you can read how to request a new voting pass.

On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 12:00 noon, the Register of Invalid Voting Passes will be drawn up. The Register of Invalid Voting Passes is used at polling stations to check whether voting passes are being submitted that are no longer valid (for example, because the voter has requested a replacement voting pass, has granted a proxy, or the voting pass holder has died). Therefore, we are not allowed to issue any new voting passes after this time.

How do you request a replacement voting pass?

  • At the counter

You can Make an appointment the public affairs desk at the town hall. This can be done until Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 12:00 noon. To do so, please make an appointment using the button below.

If your request is approved you will receive your replacement voting card immediately.

  • Written request

You can request a replacement voting pass in writing (using form J8 (at the bottom of this page)). Because we send the voting pass by mail, the request must be received by the municipality no later than Friday, March 13, 2026, at 12:00 noon. Don't forget to include a copy of your ID. 

  • Digital request

Click on the button below to access the digital form. Here you can use your DigiD to submit a digital request for a replacement voting pass. Digital requests can be submitted until Friday, March 13, 2026, 12:00 noon at the latest.
