Moving to a nursing home/nursing home

You or your family member will be moving to a care/nursing home in our community. There are a lot of things to be done. There are many things that need to be arranged. Among which is notifying the municipality of the move. If all goes well, you have received confirmation from the nursing home or care home. However, this means that the move has not yet been reported to the municipality. We therefore ask you to do the following.

Opportunities

There are three options to choose from:

  1. You or your family member, register at the address of the care/nursing home and receive all (government) mail there. You can do this through the Relocation page.
  2. You or your family member no longer wants/is unable to receive (government) mail yourself and wants it delivered to someone else. You can apply for a postal address. You will then be registered with this person in the Basic Registration of PersonsBRP) and must, for example, apply for your identity document in the municipality where you have the postal address. So you have a residential address, where you receive the mail yourself or a letter address, where someone who receives the mail for you is registered in the BRP.
  3. You apply for a letter address in the municipality where the letter address provider lives. If this is in our municipality, you can apply for a letter address here.
  4. You can also make a Make an appointment appointment to pass on the move in person at the front desk. You can make a Make an appointment an appointment here or you can contact us at telephone number (040) 289 38 93.
To apply for a letter address you can contact us at telephone number (040) 289 38 93 or you can make an information request letter address, we will call you back.
