Your new challenge

We see an increasing number of people struggling to make ends meet. In the first instance, it is up to the resident to save where they can and to apply for any benefits and schemes to which they may be entitled. If they are unable to do so and if debts are starting to appear, they can turn to you for support. Some of your tasks:

• Together with the resident, you Map the financial situation;
• You give tips on how to economize and look at possible increases in income;
• You offer support in making payment arrangements and mediate between the resident and creditors.
• Within debt assistance, you deal with the first phase of the debt process. If an amicable process is necessary, you transfer the file to Verder Groep for the second phase. After completion of the amicable process or Wsnp, you offer the resident follow-up care.
• Furthermore, as a Client Advisor on Debt Assistance, you will also be responsible for performing the Early Warning task.

Team income

As a Customer Advisor Debt Assistance, you will be part of the Income & Access team. At team Inkomen we offer support to residents with financial problems. We do this by asking in-depth questions and Map the resident's problems. On this basis, you determine the actions to be taken and record these in the action plan.
Your immediate team consists of 7 colleagues. We like to work hard but having a laugh is also important. The atmosphere is informal and fun.

Who are you

You know how to find the balance between customer focus and the own capabilities of our residents. Showing courage and the ability to find solutions outside the box is not unknown to you. You also have experience with complex problems. You can act convincingly and approach situations from different angles and topics. In addition, you have:

• Relevant work experience in debt counseling;
• college level of work and thinking;
• Good analytical ability;
• Knowledge of the Municipal Debt Relief Act (Wgs) and Participation Act.
