Vacancy Project Officer Refugee Care
(24 hours per week, scale 8)
Do you enjoy helping people who have lost everything? As refugee reception project officer for the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo, you will make a direct contribution to the reception and support of displaced persons from Ukraine. In this versatile role you will Health that everything is right behind the scenes and you will implement policy that really matters.
Your challenge
As part of the Strategy and Policy Society team, you are the connecting link between policy, implementation and cooperation partners. You work together with Senzer, LEVgroep and Sterk Huis, among others, and take on a variety of tasks that contribute to well-organized care.
Your duties include:
- Maintaining up-to-date overviews of Ukrainian IDPs in the municipality, including contact with implementing organizations regarding changes and BRP.
- Administrative preparation and processing of living allowance payments, co-payments and checklists in cooperation with Senzer.
- Organize, attend and take minutes of the Ukraine working group and maintain occupancy records.
- (Under supervision) applying for and handling SPUK grants, processing special expenses and precoding invoices.
You will additionally have space to take on ad hoc questions about Health, education and welfare in collaboration with colleagues from the social domain.

What can you expect from us
- A salary of up to €4,383 gross per month (based on 36 hours per week, scale 8, salary level April 1, 2025), depending on your experience.
- An Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 17.05% on top of your salary.
- Variable working hours, a phone and laptop, electric service bicycles and reimbursement for your home office.
- An employment contract for the duration of one year with possibility of extension.
Who are you
You are accurate, structured and have an eye for people. You are administratively strong, communicate clearly and switch easily between executive partners and internal colleagues.
- You have an MBO 4 working and thinking level (preferably MBO+).
- You have experience in administrative support and processing financial data.
- You work independently, but also know when to coordinate.
- You are socially engaged and know how to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
