Vacancy Behavioral Scientist Youth

(16 hours per week and eventually 24 hours)

At the municipality of Geldrop Mierlo we are looking for a driven Behavioral Scientist Youth. In this role you support and coach our client advisors youth in their cases and you think about the next steps for the families or young people we assist. You will use your knowledge of developmental psychology and parenting to help the client counselors consider the pros and cons of different treatments.

What will you do?

  • You will provide substantive coaching and advice to youth client advisors.
  • You will support interviews and home visits as needed.
  • You will contribute to the further development of our Health and Youth team.

What do we expect from you?

  • A completed academic education in (ortho)pedagogical sciences or developmental psychology.
  • Registration as a behavioral scientist at the master's level with the SKJ.
  • Knowledge of relevant guidelines, protocols and legislation.
  • Proactive and results-oriented attitude, strong communication skills and a people-oriented approach.
