Temporary Emergency Energy Fund reopened
In your household, does a large portion of income go on energy? If so, apply for support from the Temporary Energy Emergency Fund starting April 21, 2025. You can apply for this on the website of Emergency Energy Fund.
This can set you back hundreds of dollars.
- 200,000 people have now received a notice that the Emergency Fund is reopening. These are people who applied last year and anyone who left his/her email address on the Temporary Emergency Energy Fund website.
- The Temporary Emergency Energy Fund is expected to be open for four to six weeks. So don't wait too long. Run out = run out!

When can you apply for support?
If your household meets all of the below Requirements , you may receive support from the Temporary Emergency Energy Fund:
- People with incomes between 100 and 130% of the social minimum are eligible if their energy bills exceed 8% of their income.
- People with incomes between 130 and 200% of the social minimum are eligible if their energy bills exceed 10% of their income.
