Sewer charge
What is it?
You help pay for the construction and maintenance of sewers in the municipality. You will receive an assessment for sewerage charges if you have a home or business premises in the municipality. Even if your home or business premises are not connected to the sewer system (this is rare).
Belastingsamenwerking Oost-Brabant (BSOB) sends the sewerage tax assessment to the owner and/or user of a home or commercial property.
How does it work?
You pay sewerage charges for discharging wastewater or rainwater into the municipal sewer system. From the revenue, the municipality maintains and renews the sewers.

What to do.
You can pay sewer charges in the following ways:
- By direct debit. You give an authorization in advance. The amount will be deducted from your account in eight installments.
- You transfer the amount yourself through a payment order. It is important that you mention the assessment number. The IBAN number is NL73 BNGH 0285 1066 78.
If you move during the tax year, the assessment is automatically offset. You will then be entitled to a reduction of the assessment amount. When you move within the municipality, the assessment is automatically offset against the tax for the new address.
