Planning update project Blue Vein Aragorn

Due to the approaching Christmas season, we are pleased to bring you up to date on work within project Blue Vein Aragorn.

Our contractor Van Gelder has finished sewer work in the bike path between Galadriel and Laan Van Tolkien. This bike path will remain closed during the vacations. On Monday, January 6, 2025, we will start work again at the Laan van Tolkien/Aragorn intersection. This intersection will be closed from 06-01 from Laan van Tolkien 34 to 35, and in the Aragorn until bicycle path Zilverlei (see image below).

Map of the plan

Also on January 6, we will also start again with the paving of the intersection Galadriel, this work will take 1.5 weeks after which the intersection will be reopened to traffic.

Accessibility

During the vacation period which runs from 20-12-2024 to 06-01-2024, the Galadriel intersection between numbers 4 and 8 is closed to traffic, this is shown in the image above. The Lorien is open to traffic up to number 17, as are the parking spaces up to number 17. The sidewalks are in place and these are open. The curve at Lorien 20 is open to traffic so that the neighborhood is accessed via the Galadriel, the pavement here is not yet applied only here is temporary mixed granulate. Please take into account that this is a temporary situation, and ensure an appropriate speed when driving through this curve.
