What to do?

Parking permit application, modification or termination

You can use the button above to apply for a parking permit, change your existing permit if you have a different car, or cancel your parking permit. To complete the form above, you must log in with DigiD. If you do not have DigiD, please contact the municipality.

How does it work?

You will receive the new parking permit by mail. A modified permit must be picked up in person, as the old permit must be returned. We will notify you when your modified permit is ready for pickup at the reception desk in the town hall.

Occupancy permit

If you wish to apply for a resident permit, you must be registered at the address for which the permit is being requested and the car must be registered in your name. If it is a leased car, a copy of the lease agreement must be submitted or a statement from your employer stating that you use the car for work.

Visitor permit (for Hofdael only).

To apply for or change a visitor's permit, you must be registered at the address for which you are applying for the permit.

Temporary parking permit

Will you be working temporarily in an area that requires paid parking? Your employer can request a temporary parking permit for you from the municipality.

Business license

To apply for a business permit, the business must be registered with the Chamber of Commerce and at the address where the permit is applied for. A business permit can only be issued if the permit is necessary for business operations. It is not intended for commuting.

What does it cost?

A parking permit cannot be paid in monthly installments.

If you do not use the parking permit for the entire year, the cost will be deducted. You will receive a refund if you turn in an application/modification form along with the original permit. Charges will be deducted from the date of submission.

What do I need?

To apply for a parking permit, you will need the following:

• your DigiD
• your online banking details

If you need the permit for your leased or commercial vehicle, you will need one of the following documents:

• A copy of the lease contract.
• A statement from your employer stating that you use the car for work.

How long does it take?

You will receive a response from us within 6 weeks.

A new parking permit will be mailed to you. For an amended parking permit, you will be notified when it is ready for pickup.
