New meeting place made of old wood: trees get second life

Imagine trees that were removed from our community for a good reason are being given a second life. These trees were diseased or unstable, and had to be removed for safety reasons. But instead of disappearing, they are now returning in a new form. How beautiful is that?

On May 7, we shared via social media that colleagues from team Realization and the field service had a plan after a creative brainstorm: to make picnic tables and benches from the wood of these trees. And now they have succeeded! The first set has been placed in the Coevering, where until recently the glass container stood. So this new meeting place is taking shape. It is still a test, but the reactions are enthusiastic. Even better: every passerby who walked by during the placement shouted "Skon benkske!".

Mission accomplished!
