Budget Process 2025-2028

The process for adopting the multi-year program budget has been revamped and is as follows: 

  1. Completed: Council meeting -

    Presentation of budget and goals by the college.

  2. Still to do: Reflections and debate -

    General reflections. At this meeting, all groups will give their General Considerations in the first term. After an adjournment, a debate between the political groups will follow.

  3. Still to do: Continuing debate -

    Written response of the college to the General Considerations of the political groups. This written response will be sent to the council and published simultaneously on the website.

  4. Still to do: Budget Meeting -

    From the general considerations and the college's response to them, the groups will engage in further debate. This debate will be based on introduced motions and amendments. This debate will also include substantive discussion of the effects on our tax rates and burden and a vote on the budget.
