Bekelaar redevelopment at Mierlo
Tuesday, June 10, 2025, we will start the redevelopment of the Bekelaar in Mierlo. The work is expected to last until December 5 of this year. During the work the road will be closed, partially, to through traffic. To avoid inconvenience, the work will be carried out in 2 phases. Residents will be able to access their homes during the entire period.
Phasing
To minimize inconvenience, the work will be carried out in 2 main phases.
During phase1 we will work on the Bekelaar section, from the traffic circle on Santheuvel to the intersection Loeswijk. This is in the period from June 10 to August 22, 2025
During phase 2 , the Bekelaar section from Loeswijk to the municipal border will be under construction. This phase will start on August 25 and last until December 5, 2025.
Accessibility to Sports Park The Ark
To keep Sportpark de Ark accessible from Mierlo during the work, a temporary connection via Eikendreef will be set up for visitors.
Detour
Through traffic from Mierlo to Lierop and vice versa will be diverted via Helmond (Brugstraat-Industrieweg-Geldropseweg-Heeklaan-Kanaaldijk Zuid West).
