Center vision Geldrop
The center of Geldrop must become more of an area where visitors like to come and want to stay longer. The new vision for the development of the center focuses primarily on improving the existing center.
Policy notes
The three policy documents, image quality plan, policy document on advertising and terraces and the Incentive Scheme for façade improvement have been adopted. A new center vision 2.0 was adopted in December 2019. An implementation program based on this vision is being prepared.
Here is an infographic with brief information about center vision Geldrop.

Several streets in the center of Geldrop have already been redesigned, such as the Horecaplein, the Langstraat and the Korte Kerkstraat. Streets that will follow are the Heuvel and the Hofstraat. They will be decorated in the same style as the streets that have already been redecorated.
The traffic circle near the church downtown has also been updated. The parking meters have been replaced and pedestrian signage has been installed.
Remodeling Hill
The Heuvel (between Nieuwendijk and Horecaplein) will be redesigned. For more information see the project page Refurbishment Heuvel subplan 1 in Geldrop.
Redevelopment of Court Street
Hofstraat, the connecting road of parking lots Achter de Kerk and De Meent and the parking lot of De Meent will be redesigned. For more information, visit the project page Refurbishing Hofstraat and De Meent.
