Taxes and fees, remission
From now on you can go to www.bs-ob.nl for all assessments from 2024 onwards. Belastingsamenwerking Oost-Brabant will from now on take over all matters concerning municipal taxes.
What is it?
It may happen that you are unable to pay municipal taxes because you have a low income and little savings. You can then ask the municipality for remission or a payment arrangement.
If you are not eligible for remission but cannot pay, apply for a payment plan. This can be done by direct debit in monthly installments.
How does it work?
Are you unable to pay your municipal and/or water board tax bill? And do you think you are eligible for remission? Then you can apply for relief. Whether you are granted relief depends on your personal and financial situation (such as income, assets and housing costs).
See if you qualify for a waiver by completing the Waiver Decision Tree: https://www.bs-ob.nl/beslisboom-kwijtschelding
