What is it?

You can pay municipal taxes at once or in installments. Usually you can pay in installments if you are temporarily unable to pay, for example because you have financial problems. You can then request a payment plan. If the municipality agrees, you may pay the municipal taxes in installments.

How does it work?

If you cannot pay the tax assessment within the applicable payment period(s), you can request a payment plan. Is your request accepted? Then an arrangement will be made with you.

Send your request for a payment arrangement to the municipality within 6 weeks of the date on the assessment notice.

Additional information

The municipality can also remit municipal taxes. This is only possible if you have a low income or low assets.
