AutoMate
A visit to the hospital, but also shopping or going to the hairdresser. With the AutoMaatje project, the elderly and people who have difficulty walking can use a buddy with a car.
What is AutoMate?
Drivers use their own cars to transport less mobile locals for a small mileage fee. This allows people who can no longer use their own transportation (or public transportation) to participate in social and community activities again.
If you want to travel with an AutoMate, you must sign up. You must give at least two days' notice of where you want to go and when. A volunteer will then be found for you.
