For vulnerable children, social skills do not always come naturally. Sometimes they need coaching in this. Social skills training is a good tool where children can learn with each other and from each other.

Through conversations, play activities and exercises, the children can share experiences and feelings with each other and various themes are discussed such as bullying, setting boundaries, saying no, emotions, making friends and maintaining are among the topics covered.

In March 2022, with enough applications, a social skills training course will start from MEE. This training is designed for children between the ages of 7 and 12 who have difficulty with social skills and consists of 8 meetings.

An intake interview will be started and there will also be evaluation interviews with parents/caregivers.

The meetings will start at the end of March and continue through June 9. They will take place in sports hall de Coevering in Geldrop after school hours.
