* Prokkel Voting Office
As with the previous elections in 2023, City Hall will be a so-called "Prokkel polling station."
This means that someone with a (minor) disability participates as a member of the polling station and performs tasks that are feasible within his or her disability. This happens under the guidance of another member of this polling station, creating a so-called Stimucounter duo.
This project was born out of the need for a more inclusive society. After all, people with disabilities are more than their disabilities; they want and can be meaningful in society.
More information about the Stimucounter Foundation and the elections can be found on the website of the Stimucounter Foundation: https://www.prokkel.nl/inclusieve-stembureaus/
** The mobile polling station is used to offer the residents of the senior points in Geldrop the opportunity to vote close to home. Because the public space in the Jonkvrouw is not yet available, the Tournooiveld 10 Building was chosen for the residents of this for this election.
Accessibility
All polling stations are accessible to the disabled.
A list of candidates in Braille is available at all polling stations in the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo. You will also find the spoken candidate list below.

Safety
All mandatory corona measures at polling stations have lapsed with the expiration of the Covid-19 Temporary Elections Act. Corona, however, has not yet disappeared.
Therefore, we also want to provide the opportunity now for everyone to safely cast their vote and for all volunteers to safely sit at the polling place. Dust mask, disinfectants and gloves can be used. The cough screens will also be installed again.
We ask everyone to understand each other's points of view and to give each other space where necessary.
Counting of votes
The counting of votes cast will take place on election day from 9 p.m. at the respective polling station, except for the mobile polling station. The counting of the votes cast from the mobile polling station takes place from 9 p.m. at the town hall, De Meent 2 in Geldrop. The counting of votes is open to the public.
