Invitation to participation meeting Location Profiles & Implementation Program Events
We would like to invite you to join us in discussing the new location profiles and the implementation program for events in our municipality. During the meeting, we will inform you about the structure of these documents, gather ideas, and hear about the points you consider important.
Why this meeting?
The municipality has drawn up location profiles for various locations in Geldrop and Mierlo. A location profile is a policy-oriented and practical document that sets out all the relevant characteristics, Requirements preconditions of a specific location in order to enable events to be held there. The location profiles thus form an important link between policy, licensing, and practice.
We will also explain the Events Implementation Program, which describes all the implementation aspects that apply to events within our municipality. The input from previous participation sessions has already been incorporated into this program. During the meeting, we will take you through the most important parts.
For whom and when?
We are organizing two meetings, each focusing on a specific area:
Tuesday, December 9, 2025 – for residents of Mierlo
Location: Het Patronaat, Mierlo
Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Thursday, December 11, 2025 – for residents of Geldrop
Location: De Weeffabriek, Geldrop
Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
What are we going to talk about?
During the meeting, we will discuss, among other things:
- the content and structure of the implementation plan
al events; - the operation and structure of the location profiles;
- your ideas, points of interest, and experiences as a resident or organizer.
Preparation
To ensure you are well prepared for the meeting, you can view the draft implementation plan and draft location profiles in advance. After registering, you will receive the documents by email.
Do you have very specific questions about a particular location or an individual location profile? If so, please let us know in advance. We will then ensure that you are personally informed during (in general terms) or after the meeting.

Registration is required so that we can carefully prepare for the meetings.
